Let’s make it clearer.

Sign in to the Cayl account you used for the purchase, then tap Restore at the top of the subscription screen. Use the same App Store account. If access does not return, keep your receipt for support; never share your Apple password.

Open Apple subscription settings to manage renewal. Deleting Cayl or your Cayl account does not cancel an Apple subscription.

Open You and choose Delete Account at the bottom of the list. On the subscription screen, tap Account, then Delete Account. Deletion removes your Cayl records and photos; a provider outage can delay cleanup. Apple verification may be offered for revoking sign-in access. Deleting your account does not cancel an Apple subscription; the deletion screen offers Manage subscription.

Open You → AI & Privacy, or tap Account → AI data sharing on the subscription screen. Meal logging uses AI, so it needs this permission. You can turn sharing off at any time. This prevents new AI requests and does not recall information already sent. Read the privacy policy for recipients and retention details.

Photo and AI results are estimates. Review the photo description before logging. Open a logged meal and tell Cayl what's off, or tap Edit to adjust its items, portions and numbers yourself. Nutrition labels and measured portions can help improve your record.

Reconnect to the internet and open the meal again. If processing fails, use Retry or enter the meal manually. Avoid submitting the same meal repeatedly.

Check that Meal reminders is on in You, then check Settings → Notifications → Cayl. Reminders depend on the permissions and schedules you choose. A reminder is not a guarantee that a subscription will be canceled.
